2021 Wrap
A year of change.
2021 was certainly disruptive and has brought about considerable change.
As an eternal optimist I can’t help but think that this change is going to be great and open many new doors in 2022 & beyond.
But before we start thinking about the promise of the new year I believe it’s important to reflect on the work we crafted in 2021 and the impact we’ve had.
We delivered positive change in a number of different industries including building materials, government, tourism, resources, energy, shopping centre, primary/secondary education, tertiary education, property, building services, aged care, jewellery, beef, charity, recruitment & food & beverage. No two days were the same – just how we like it.
Here are a few highlights.
We kicked off the year with a successful pitch win for QLD Fire and Emergency Services’ smoke alarms campaign. The campaign exceeded all stated objectives and produced one very happy client group. View the campaign.

We created and launched a new national brand for the Timber Framing Collective – an important first step in our strategy to get Timber Framing – The Ultimate Renewable™ on the radar. View the website.
We developed a brand from the ground up including positioning, name, logo, tagline & corporate ID for Turbine; Australia’s first, purpose-built food and beverage manufacturing precinct to be located at the Sunshine Coast Airport. F&B Innovation. SMEs scaling. New export markets. Economic benefit to SEQ. It really was a dream brief for us.
We helped Brookside Shopping Centre celebrate 50 incredible years with highly positive anecdotal feedback. The campaign achieved strong community participation in competitions. Our scratch and win competition generated centre sales with a ROI of 10:1 and we secured strong media coverage including a segment on Channel 7’s Flashback.

Our rebrand of the National Fire Ant Eradication program went live – an important step in a 10 year program to eradicate a pest that threatens the very lifestyle we take for granted here in Queensland.
We refreshed a suite of corporate collateral for R&BS.
We produced Stuartholme School’s new Strategic Plan.
Our highly successful campaigns for UNE and Get Ready QLD continued to deliver the goods.

And we enjoyed celebrating 21 years of positive change with our 21 Pieces campaign, not to mention enjoying the honour of producing AdNews’ first cover of 2021.
