Tim Weger
Strategist & Managing Director
Tim is one of those guys you’ll love working with. His leadership style is inclusive and informal; he encourages everyone to have a voice, and values the contributions of every team member. His enthusiasm, loyalty, ethical values and smart strategic mind have helped define the agency’s positive change culture.
As Engine’s MD, Tim has been trusted by C-level executives across both the public and private sectors. He has been instrumental to the success of many Queensland Government campaigns over the last decade, as well as for brands such as University of New England, Brisbane Airport Corporation, RSPCA and Ladbrokes.
Tim has many strengths. But crying through movies – the sad ones, the happy ones, and even the chick flicks – isn’t one of them.
Mike Fritz
Creative Director
Mike embarked on his career in Graphic Design with Engine Group in 2004, marking the inception of his professional journey. Over the span of 18 years, he traversed the globe, honing his skills and expanding his horizons, ultimately returning to Engine as a senior creative.
During his sabbatical, Mike made notable contributions to esteemed creative agencies in Australia, including BBDO, BWM, DDB, and Leo Burnett. Working on household brands, such as Virgin Australia, Westpac, Tourism QLD, SPC, Don Smallgoods, Telstra, Volvo, John West, Energex, iSelect, and Drumstick, among a plethora of others.
Opting for a path less travelled, Mike embraced a digital nomad lifestyle residing in 11 countries over 3 years with his better half. In his 20+ year career he’s secured multiple accolades in Australia, New York, and Cannes Lions Festival including Best in Show at BADC.
When not behind his Mac, he can be found strumming his guitar, pursuing his passion for art or kicking a footy at the beach with his young son.
Dianne Grice
Client Services Director
Dianne has a career in advertising that spans almost 30 years, across both media and account service disciplines. She has successfully led a range of national and multinational brand and retail campaigns across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia, including The Coca-Cola Company (SAP), UNICEF, PNG Tourism, Mitsubishi, Flight Centre and the Queensland Government.
A preferred behaviour change advocate, Di specialises in driving many social marketing
campaigns for the Australian Federal and Queensland State governments and has been instrumental in delivering successful behaviour change initiatives, including the entire Queensland COVID-19 response and subsequent vaccination campaign.
