A year full of emotion.
A 2020 wrap

2020 began with such promise.
A stack of work to kick off the year and a pipeline full of opportunities.
Our campaign for the ECQ had just launched encouraging people to think about the issues that were important to them and ensure they had their say in the local election.
We were celebrating 20 years in business and were looking forward to our 21st anniversary later in the year.
And then the world changed.
Just like that.
Excitement was replaced with uncertainty.
People were being shed.
Budgets were being cut.
And projects were mothballed.
Working from home became normal for the world and many of us commenced home schooling.
It was in this moment where we committed to playing the long game.
Despite the uncertainty we looked after our people – our greatest asset. We invested heavily in our clients and our own brand and authored a stack of content including a webinar series – https://enginegroup.com.au/news/
Proactive jobs dominated our work in progress and we graciously accepted the stimulus provided by the government.
But despite the challenges of 2020, we kicked a number of goals and produced a heap of great work.
We delivered positive change in a number of different industries including government, tourism, airline, news media, resources, energy, shopping centre, primary/secondary education, tertiary education, property, gaming, building services, aged care, jewellery, beef, charity, sports retail & healthcare. No two days were the same – just how we like it.
We also celebrated our 21st anniversary.

And our senior graphic designer, Megan & her husband, Simon welcomed little Eva into the world on 5 December.
And now here we are enjoying the most special time of year where children are filled with such wonderment reminding us to take stock and reflect about what’s really important in life.
Thank you to all our wonderful clients for keeping us busy and to our supply partners who have supported us along the crazy ride that was 2020.
I’m confident 2021 will be a great year where we have the opportunity to create even more positive change, but for now it’s time to tools down and enjoy the summer with all those special people around us.
