Lighting Illusions wanted to join in the End of Financial Year sales fun. However, the biggest retailer in the category – Beacon Lighting – had launched their annual 50% off stock take sale, and the best we could offer was a 30% discount. A more creative approach was required.
There are other ways to stand out than a great big price. We refocused the communication away from sale points to a fun and engaging idea that elevated us from the competition. The outtake was still ‘big savings’, only presented in a more eye-catching way.
Campaign resulted in a 239% ROI.
