With summer holidays around the corner, Seqwater needed to remind the millions of site visitors to follow a number of safety rules around their lakes, dams and parks.
Solution
Knowing a big stick approach would likely be ignored by our target audience, we encouraged people to have a great day out but to do so safely. By engaging with key influencers, like the world’s best wakeboarder, and pairing safety messages with specific activities and demographics, we developed content that resonated with specific audiences across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, as well as onsite through posters, merchandise and a lakeside cinema.
Infringement notices decreased by 27% and verbal warnings reduced by 40% indicating improved visitor compliance with safety guidelines.
