The Problem//

In Queensland there’s widespread connection with the Anzac tradition, but low awareness of the four-year centenary of the First World War and even less awareness of how to get involved.

How we solved it//

To make our history feel personal and relatable, we engaged current Australian Defence Force personal to read genuine letters and telegrams written by Queenslanders who served in the First World War. We resolved our communications with the question ‘How will we serve their memory?’ – a powerful, community-focused call-to-action.
